Meditation for Our Children

                                                                      CONCERNING:
                                                                                 God
I thank you, Lord that You are the God of all hope that fills my children with all joy & peace in believing and that they abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You that all my children are taught by You, Lord and great is their peace and undisturbed composure. In righteous -ness they are established. They are far from oppression and they will not fear, for terror will not come near their dwelling. God knows the thought s He thinks toward my children. Thoughts to prosper them and not to harm them, to give them hope and a future. Father I thank You my children search for wisdom, because unending riches, honor, wealth and justice are theirs to distribute. For wisdoms gifts are more pure than the purest gold. Her wages are better than sterling silver. Thank you Lord my children walk with wisdom, in righteousness and in actions of justice; for then wisdom will cause them to inherit wealth and will fill their treasures, Amen

                                                                                Parents
Father I pray my children and I do not cast away our confidence because it has a great reward. My children do not curse their father or mother so their lamb will not be put out in deep darkness. My children walk in integrity and their children are blessed after them. My children do not mistreat their father or chase away their mother so they do not cause shame or disgrace on me. They do not cease listening to instruction and do not stray from the words of knowledge. My children’s children are my crown and I am the kind of person my children can be proud of. I pray I will not provoke my children to anger, but I bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Thank You that You are the God of patience and comfort. You grant my family to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, with one mind and with one mouth we glorify You, the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Thank you that my children obey me in the Lord, for this is right. They honor their father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise that things will go well for them and they will live long on the earth. Amen.

                                                                                Trusting
Thank you father that you grant us according to the riches of your glory, that my children are strengthened with might through Your Spirit in their inner man, that Christ dwells in their hearts through faith; that they are rooted and grounded in love and are able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height and that they know the love of Christ which passes all knowledge and are filled with all the fullness of God. Now to You who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever. Christ has redeemed my children from the curse of the law being made a curse for us (for it is written,” Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.”) If they are Christ’s, then they are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. Amen Eph.3:16-21,Gal.3:13,29

                                                                               God’s Love
Thank You Father, that you tenderly love my children and that they believe that they came from You. My children love people, they live in God’s light and there is no occasion for stumbling in them. My children humble themselves under the mighty hand of God and He exalts them in due time. They cast all their cares on God because He tenderly cares for them. Thank You Lord my children are anxious for nothing; they don’t worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving they make their request known to You and Your peace that passes all understanding keeps their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

                                                                                Tongue
Thank You Father there is no deceit ar lie found in my children’s mouth for they are without fault before the throne of God. My children speak the truth in live and grow up in God in all things, who is the head-Christ. My children speak pleasant words, which are like a honeycomb. It is sweet to their soul and health to their bones. My children are winners in life who take pleasure in honest lips. They are valued because they speak what is right. My children and I have a wholesome tongue, which is a tree of life. They do not have a deceitful tongue and they never crush their spirit or anyone else. They are not foolish and spurn my teaching. They heed correction and show they are sensible. My children have a soft answer that turns away wrath and so do I. We never speak harsh words that stir up strife. Rev.14:5, Eph.4:15, Pr.16:13,24, 15:1,4,5

                                                                                Wisdom
I thank you Father I have wise children that make me glad; they will not be foolish and bring grief to me. My children are wise because they heed my instruction; they are not scoffers and the listen to rebuke. My children walk with wise men and will be wise. They will not be a companion of fools and suffer harm. My children are wise and they bring me joy. They are never foolish and they do not despise me. My children increase in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man. My children get wisdom and they love their own soul; they cherish understanding and will prosper. They have discretion and are slow to anger; wisdom gives them patience; it is to their credit to overlook an offense. Pr.10:1, 13:1,20, 15:20, 19:8,11, Lu.2:52

                                                                                Purity
Thank You, Lord my children keep their way pure by taking heed to God’s Word. They set nothing wicked before their eyes; they hate the works of those who fall away and it shall not cling to them. My children are clean because of the Word that has been spoken to them. My children present their bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto You which is their reasonable service and spiritual worship. The blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanses my children’s conscience from dead works, acts that lead to death so they can serve the living God. My children flee sexual immorality and put to death their members which are on the earth; fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and covetousness which is idolatry. They put on tender mercy, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering. They bear with others, if anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave them, so they do also. Ps.119;9, 101:3, Jn.15:3 Ro.12:1, Heb.9:14, 1Co.6:18, Col.3:5,12

                                                                                 Heart
Thank You, Father that my heart is turned toward my children and my children’s heart are turned toward me. They love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. With all their heart my children seek God. They do not wander from His commandments. They seek first Gods Kingdom and all these things are added to them. My children have a merry heart that makes a cheerful countenance. They refuse sorrow of heart and a broken spirit. They have a merry heart and a continual feast. All their days are not oppressed or miserable. They are never foolish and do not despise me. They are wise in heart and are sensible. Their pleasant words increase their learning. They are kind to others, tenderhearted, forgiving others, just as God in Christ forgave them. My Children love purity of heart and have grace on their lips so freat men will be their friends. My Children are happy because they are reverent and respectful; they do not harden their heart so they will not fall into trouble.

                                                                                God’s Word
My children are blessed because they do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of the scornful. Their delight and desire is in the Word of God and in His Word do they meditate day and night. They are like trees firmly planted by the rivers of living water. They bring forth their fruit in season; their leaf does not wither and what ever they put their hand to prosper. My children are doers of the Word and not hearers only so they will not be self-deluded. They treasure Your Word in their heart so they will not sin against You. Thank You, Father that You have given my children a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You and that the eyes of their understanding are enlightened; that they know what is the hope of Your calling and what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints. I thank You< Lord, Your Word will not return void to our children, but it will accomplish what you please and it prospers in the very thing which you sent it. My children do not despise the Word and so they will not be destroyed. They fear Gods Word and will be rewarded. They keep themselves away from the paths of the destroyer by the words of Your lips. They attend to God’s Word and incline their ears to His sayings. They do not let the Word depart from their eyes, they keep it in the midst of their heart for it is life to them because they have found it, it is health to all their flesh. They guard their heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life. They put away from them a deceitful mouth and perverse lips they put far from them. They let their eyes look straight ahead and their eyes look right before them. They ponder the path of their feet and let all their ways be established. They do not turn to the right or to the left. They remove their feet from evil.
